senior paper preview
They’re many diseases that people could get diagnosed with from cancer to aids; those are fatal and have no cure. My mom Melissa was diagnosed with
MS, multiple scleroses. It is a diseases that basically makes you immune system attack its self, damaging the Myelin covering of nerve cells. Fortunately it
is not fatal. It is possible to live a normal happy life with MS. There is no cure yet but they have made so much progress in the past 150 years of the
disease being known and a medical situation. This paper will also cover living with MS, from both my mothers point of view and my own, the
advancements in finding a cure and also in slowing down the process of the disease and the effects it has on those who have it, plus supporting the
person who has it. Over the past 6 years of my mom being diagnosed with this disease I’ve learned a lot about my mom and MS and how to cope with life
and try my hardest to help my mom get better and live a happy and successful life.
