Parents
My parents were very influential in my life. From age 1-5 it was just my mom and I. Life was different without a dad around. I often asked myself why everyone had a mom and a dad when I only had mom. It made me feel like I wasn’t good enough to have a dad. Having an amazing mom to be there though was probably the reason why I was able be a happy child. Any time I needed something or someone my mom was always there and always tried her hardest to give me everything she could possibly give me.
Right before I turned 6 my mom met my step dad. My step dad was very influential. Although he was hard on me growing up, it was well worth it.
Religion
For the 18 years I’ve been alive I’ve always questioned, is there a god? To be honest I hope there is. When I think of religion it makes me think a lot about my grandpa and his beliefs. He has been a huge influence on how I see faith. He has been a preacher for many years and has gone to church his whole life. Because of his faith, I have always hoped there is a god. To be honest, as I have gotten older, I don’t think about religion as much as I used too. I do not know what my spiritual path holds for me in the future, but I am open to what god has in store for me.

Beauty
Beauty to me is not so much about the outside physical appearance. It is more about the way you act, the way you think about personality over physical looks, without judging as much as possible.
Home
Home is where I feel happy and safe. Not so much my house, but to me, many places feel like home. My grandparents place feels like home because they are the people that make it feel like home. So many people try to have a huge house when all I need is my family to make it feel like home. To me, that is home.
Friendship
To me, a friendship honestly doesn’t mean much, considering that friends are not forever. There are only a select few of my friends that I can actually say I trust. Their friendships have evolved more into a family then anything. But like I said, that’s only a select few. One friend that’s always been with me is Boddie. I’ve known him since 2nd grade and he’s one of my best friends.
The places I need work
Being me, and my opinion about myself, is all I need to survive. I know I am NOT perfect, far from perfect. I have made MANY mistakes in my life. I have done many stupid things, some of which I regret. But to be completely honest, I don’t regret anything. These mistakes have made me who I am today. I wish I wasn’t such a procrastinator. I wish I could not tell a lie. I wish I could tell people the truth without hurting them. But like I said, all my experiences are what makes me, me. There is nothing anyone can do to change that.
Siblings
I have two siblings, a sister and a stepbrother. My sister is 12, almost 13 years old and lives in Rifle with me. She is a 7th grader at Rifle Middle School and has epilepsy. She is one of my best friends that and though I may fight with her A LOT, she is amazing and there is nothing I would change about her. She does 4-H every year and competes in barrels and poles on horses frequently. My brother is 16 years old and lives in Stockton California. He also has epilepsy. He is a good kid but to be completely honest I don’t know him well enough to say much about him.
My strengths
One of my biggest strengths is that I rarely give up. I will try my hardest at something until I physically cannot do it. I am good with hands-on tasks and critical thinking. I am really good at Call of Duty. I am also decent at guitar.
The day I was born
One day I was taking a short jog around my mother’s uterus when suddenly everything started to cave in, then a gap opened up and green hands pulled me out, opening my eyes to the taxi cab I was born into. The end. Ok just kidding. I was born on February 8th, 1994. My mom was 21 and she lived in Santa Rosa California. It was a natural and normal birth, nothing special.
Things I need to focus on to be successful in life
The main goal I have right now is to graduate. To achieve that, I must make up 8 credits. I have to stop procrastinating and focus on school. I used to ditch daily and this year I have not ditched a single class. I would like to get a job. I’ve applied to every place I can possibly think of.
Success
Success to me is being happy and healthy. So at this point in life I am successful. To keep feeling successful I must graduate and find a job and just stay happy. Life is rough. Without pain we cannot feel happiness. Without happiness we cannot feel successful.
Pivotal moment
The one pivotal moment in my life is when my mom got MS. The reason why it’s so pivotal is because it changed my family’s life so much. I had to cope with seeing someone I loved suffer, and it was crushing. I’ll never forget the day we found out. It was on my 16th birthday. The first thing that happened is that my mom literally went completely blind. It was very scary.
